Our Story
How it started. Why we're still here.
Doris E. Stephens — Cutting Hair Since '96
In 1996, Doris opened a barber shop on Route 12 in Greene. One chair, one barber, one straightforward idea: give people a good haircut at a fair price and treat them like a neighbor. Because in Greene, they probably are.
Nearly three decades later, the shop is still here. Same stretch of road. Same approach. The chairs might be different and Jenna's joined the team, but the standard hasn't changed. You walk in, you get taken care of, you leave looking sharp.
Customers bring their kids in for their first haircuts. Those kids grow up and keep coming back. That kind of thing doesn't happen by accident. It happens because the work speaks for itself.
